Interflon Paste HT1200 Lubricant

High performance, high temperature assembly paste. Based on non-toxic ceramic materials makes it ideal for use in extreme circumstances.

Helps to prevent rust and corrosion whilst eliminating fretting of materials during the assembly and disassembly of most of equipment and machinery. High resistance to moisture, salt water, acids, high pressure and other atmospheric influences.

Benefits

This maximises the conversion of rotational torque on the nut and ensures maximum transfer to compressive load. This is also used within calculations on final installation torque value for gasket sealing applications.

Polarization means that negatively polarized lubricant particles in the paste adhere to positively charge particles on a surface. This bond is much stronger than that offered by normal lubricants.

As an insulator the lubricant is effective at preventing galvanic corrosion and oxidation. Copper or graphite based lubricants can act as conductors and therefor promote dielectric issues.

Ceramic particles are non-toxic to humans if accidentally ingested in amounts smaller than 10 parts per million. Ceramics are what allows Interflon HT1200 paste to carry it’s FOOD SAFE rating.

Ideal lubricant for clean water, potable water, and drainage applications.

Will not be “squeezed” out by high bolt loadings.

Galling or “binding” of stainless steel fasteners is common. This can easily be prevented by selecting the correct lubricant that prevents galling.

HT1200 never dries out! For this reason alone, it becomes the lubricant of choice for contractors who need to break-up flanges that have been sealed for a long number of years.
